How to Write Killer Marketing Content For Blogs, Emails That Actually Drive Results Using AI

Overview: The Basics of Using Jasper to Create Amazing Content
Some important principles to keep in mind before we start…
- Jasper has lots of different tools, templates, and business features to help you leverage this technology–but I’ve found the best approach is to tell (command) Jasper what you want and give it context.
- “Prompts” or “commands” are the things we’re telling Jasper to do… this method is more advanced than just using the ‘templates’ within Jasper but allows us to get much more specific with our outputs.
- If you’re new to this, and it seems a bit overwhelming, don’t sweat it – Jasper has a world-class support team that you can hop on and get hands-on support and earn bonus credits for free!

Here’s the process for creating a high-converting, high-quality email from scratch step by step…
Note: there are so many useful tools within Jasper.ai. I’m using Jasper chat in this example – but you can also accomplish this process by using the different jasper ‘templates’ or even within the jasper document editor.
STEP ONE: Create the base of your marketing piece.
First, we need to give Jasper some context for it to have the best chance to create the output we want!
Start with some swipe copy (optional) and add it to the “background information” section within Jasper. Alternatively, you can write out the bare bones of what you’re selling, who you’re selling it to, and some of the basic features & benefits and add them to the “background information” section within Jasper commands.

Solid output, but still a bit of cleaning up to do!
Next, we want to refine and expand.
STEP TWO: Refine Your Content
Now, this is where I like to add my own “special sauce” in Jasper to refine the output further… My go-to prompt for this step is to tap into some of my favorite copywriters of the past, along with giving Jasper some more details on how exactly I want it to work with the content.
TIP: Be SPECIFIC – the more details you can give the better within the command/prompt.

As you can see, my prompt is very specific with what I’m looking for, I’m also directing its style and tone!

STEP THREE: Edit – Keep Refining, Editing, and Adding Content Using Jasper’s Smart Tools.
At this stage, we have a pretty solid starting point for our email, so we just need to refine it.
For this stage, I like to move our base email into the Jasper Document Editor (which is basically like Google Docs except you can prompt Jasper to create & refine right within the document editor itself!
In the document editor, we can directly edit the copy of our email just like you would a google doc, but also add in elements…
For example – we can add a list of features & benefits to our email:
This is within the Jasper.ai Document Editor.
Prompt: Write up a list of features and benefits of Jasper.ai and describe why they matter to the reader
Simply copy this list of features/benefits into your email!
STEP FOUR: Putting it All Together in The Jasper Document Editor
At this point, you have several parts of your email generated, possibly in different templates/tools within Jasper. Now you simply need to pull it all together into one document!
If you have Jasper Boss Mode (highly recommended), you can just take any pieces you’ve generated and combine them together in a document… oh, and this is awesome: you can also allow other folks on your team to have access to these documents within Jasper!
The key benefit of doing this within the Jasper Document editor is, as shown above, you can actually put commands within the document and Jasper will reference the content within the document itself!
Of course, if you just go with the starter plan, you can always copy your different outputs into your document editor of choice, you just lose some of the following functionality…
Within the Jasper Boss Mode document editor, you can…

Example Prompt: Rewrite the above email to appeal to stay-at-home moms whose children have just left the house and are considering starting a freelance writing business - Use Jasper Rephrase Tool
Select specific sentences and have Jasper re-phrase the content… - Use Jasper “Power Mode” to Generate More Useful Content
Select ‘power editor’ and select from the dozens of templates to help you if you get stuck! You can simply copy from any template output into your document. - Directly Access Jasper Chat – New!
I haven’t even had a chance to fully dive into the power of “Jasper Chat” yet – but it’s perhaps the most intuitive way to work with Jasper’s tools, you can talk to it just like you would an assistant… and it gets it! This is useful when we’re editing because we can ask it for items we may want to add to our email… such as a “P.S.” or a list of subject lines, and so much more. - Allow other members of your team to access it!
By default, the Boss Mode level of Jasper comes with three users; any user you allow accessing your project can see your work and pick up from where you left off. - Ensure your (and Jasper’s) grammar is top-of-the-line…
Jasper has Grammarly built right in for all users; you can toggle it on/off to enable its amazing suite of tools within the Jasper document, at no extra cost to you.
Using these tools within Jasper Document editor makes pulling all your content together in one place easy as pie!

Tip: in the Jasper document editor you can add details about your specific product/service within the “content description/brief” for jasper to reference when you’re executing your prompts.
Prompt: Write an allegorical story in the first person point of view that highlights the emotional pain of the “problem/barrier” and how PRODUCT helped them overcome their problem.

Get to Know Your Target Audience Better.
- Ask jasper about the secret fears & desires of your target audience in the context of your product.
- Ask jasper to list out different target audiences that might benefit from your product/service and to provide context to why they would benefit from it.
Re-write a piece of content for a specific target audience.
In the document editor, add your content piece at the top of your document, then add the following prompt:
Prompt: Rewrite the above content to appeal to [niche] and their specific needs.
Describe someone having a transformative experience with your product/service.
Prompt: Describe in detail the first time using [product], the excitement, the fear, the elation. Use highly descriptive language, be detailed, and write it in the first person.
